Jiangsu Huada New Material Co., Ltd. was founded on September 23, 2009, and is situated in Changshu New Materials Industrial Park, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. Covering a land area of 100 mu with a registered capital of RMB 100 million, the company boasts a designed annual production capacity of 200,000 tons. It is an affiliate of Huada Chemical Group Co., Ltd. Established in 1993 as a joint venture between Yantai Synthetic Leather General Factory and Dainippon Ink and Chemicals, Inc. (DIC), the Group underwent a share acquisition in 2003 whereby Yantai Wanhua Group purchased all equity held by DIC, transforming the Group into a wholly state-owned enterprise. In 2004, the Group completed restructuring into a private enterprise. The core technologies for polyurethane resins for artificial leather, polyester polyols and shoe sole stock all originate from Japan’s DIC Corporation.
Backed by the Group’s more than 30 years of technological accumulation in the polyurethane industry, the company has built a complete system integrating R&D, pilot testing and large-scale mass production, featuring a comprehensive and diversified product portfolio. Its core main products fall into four major series: polyurethane resins specially formulated for synthetic leather and coatings, polyester polyols of various specifications, polyurethane elastomers, and polyurethane adhesives. Custom raw materials with tailored viscosity, hardness, weather resistance and environmental protection grades are available to meet clients’ differentiated requirements. The full range of products serves all daily consumer scenarios related to clothing, food, housing and transportation, and extends to high-end medical care, industrial manufacturing, home building materials, footwear & textiles, automotive interiors and other diversified sectors: Textile synthetic leather and artificial leather for bags, garments and home soft furnishings; Elastomer resins applicable to shoe soles, industrial rollers and pipe fittings; Eco-friendly adhesives for composite fabrics, board lamination and flexible packaging processing; High-purity polyester polyols as base raw materials for downstream products including foams, coatings and seals.
