1、 Core functions at the material level
1. Forming substrate (basic function)
Polyurethane elastomers is generally an isocyanate terminated prepolymer (material A), mixed with a chain extender (material B), poured, heated and cured, and the liquid raw material becomes a solid elastomer component; Can pour complex shaped parts without the need for rubber vulcanization molds for high-pressure molding.
2. Endow the material with five core characteristics (resin formula determines performance)
High wear resistance: The wear resistance is 3 to 10 times that of natural rubber, and it can withstand continuous friction and erosion without easy wear and tear;
High strength+high elasticity: Stretching and tear resistance far exceed ordinary rubber, while also having good rebound;
Strong bearing capacity: It retains elasticity even under high hardness, with minimal compression deformation, suitable for long-term pressure and repeated impact;
Oil resistant and resistant to various chemicals: good stability in engine oil, hydraulic oil, weak acid and alkali environments;
The hardness range is extremely wide: By adjusting the resin system, the finished product can achieve Shore A20 (soft rubber) to Shore D70 (hard and tough plastic).
Polyester resin: more wear-resistant and oil resistant; Polyether resin: better resistance to hydrolysis and low temperature performance.
